The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) collates crime data for all the state counties. Its most recent crime statistics for Pasco County are for 2018. In that year, the county recorded a total of 10,275 crimes. The overall figure represents a 4.7% dip compared to the previous year and a 25.9% reduction compared to the 2013 total.
