Liberty County reports criminal activities in criminal records. These records cover murders, rapes, burglaries, arson, motor vehicle theft, assaults, and crimes of sexual nature. In Liberty County and across the whole state of Florida, the police are mandated to keep an up-to-date list of all records of criminals. The District Courts of Appeal has the power to oversee any lower court case in which one party appeals in Florida. The district courts of appeal can entertain appeals from final judgments and can evaluate certain non-final orders. By general law, the district courts have been granted the ability to review final actions taken by state agencies in carrying out the duties of the executive branch of government.

Liberty County records come with charges. Liberty County birth records cost $10 per first copy, while death records cost $6 for the first copy.
NOTE - A person must visit between 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday to obtain records in-person in Liberty County. If a member of the public wishes to get hold of files, they must bring some form of photo identification - state IDs and driver's licenses will do just fine. In Liberty County, a person must also put their request to access records in writing.
