How to Visit a Volusia County Inmate
Only scheduled visitors are permitted to visit inmates. To create an appointment, visitors will need to know the inmate's name as well as his/her six-digit booking number. Appointments can either be made online or by dialing (888) 506-8407. All appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Visitors are permitted from Tuesday through Saturday. However, as of 2023, the Volusia County Division of Corrections only provides non-contact visitation. In addition, Volusia County inmates are permitted a maximum of two visitors and a maximum of one visit per day.
During the scheduled appointments, visitors are required to follow the regulations of the facility. On-site visitors must arrive at the visitation building at least ten minutes before the appointment with valid photo identification (student IDs not accepted). Guests who arrive after the appointment period are denied entry. Visitors must also be dressed appropriately. This means avoiding any clothing that may be considered too revealing or see-through.

How to Send Jail Mail in Volusia County
Volusia County inmates are permitted to send or receive mail. However, any sent mail must include the name of the inmate used during booking as well as the inmate's booking number. Jail must also include a return address and be sent to:

Inmates do not physically receive sent mail. Instead, all incoming mail is scanned, forwarded, and inspected before delivery to an inmate via a handheld tablet. Letters must either be typed or handwritten. Although inmates are permitted to receive photos, offenders are not allowed to receive any photo that contains any explicit, nude, or provocative images.
