How to Conduct an Orange County Court Case Search
A record seeker can conduct Orange County case records via the MyeClerk provided by the Clerk of Courts. The search criteria is by name, case number, citation name, or date range. The MyeClerk tool allows access to traffic, civil, criminal, family, and probate case records.
Requesters who cannot find court records via MyeClerk can fill an online, form, request by mail, or in person, Mail requests can be made by submitting a Records Request by Mail form to the Clerk of Courts. Requests can take up to 10 business days to process, depending on the number of requests received.
The County Clerk of Courts charges $1 per page for copies of court records, an additional fee of $42 for certifying each document. Online requesters can pay record fees via MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express debit and credit cards. Online requests attract a $1.50 credit card processing fee. Mail requesters can pay records fees by checks or money order. For in-person requests, the County Clerk accepts cash, money order, check, and debit/credit cards. In-person credit and debit card transactions attract a $3.50 processing fee.
Orange County Civil Court Case Records
Civil court cases are cases in which private citizens (or corporations/businesses) sue each other in a court of law. Civil court record cases are dockets, transcripts filed with the clerk, electronic records, video tapes, or stenographic tapes of court proceedings.

- Civil Circuit Court. The Circuit Civil Courts have within its jurisdiction to hear matters whose controversy exceeds $30,000 and appeals from the County Courts.
