The Florida Department of Law Enforcement maintains a statewide database that contains information on convicted sex offenders. The FDLE provides public access to this database through its sexual offenders and predators search. Interested persons may use the provided name search to find sex offenders by their last and first names. The platform also provides a neighborhood search where users can input a city, an address, a zip code, and a search radius. Available information includes an offender's full name, status, date of birth, Department of Corrections number, a photograph, and other physical descriptors.

The FDLE provides the Florida Offender Alert System to track offenders of interest. Persons that register on the platform will receive alerts when there is a change in the offender's status or location.

How to Find Pompano Beach Inmate Records

The Broward Sheriff's Office provides online information on persons booked into any of the county's jail facilities. Residents may use the arrest search to find inmate records by entering the person's first or last name. Pompano Beach court records maintained by the Broward County Circuit Court are public records. City residents may inspect most court records or obtain copies as desired. However, public access to Pompano Beach court records is not absolute. Some court records, such as sealed or expunged records, are not obtainable but the general public. Also, access to juvenile records is restricted to the juvenile, a parent or legal guardian, a related attorney, and any other person directly connected to the case. Pompano Beach residents may order the dissolution of marriage certificates from the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Vital Statistics. The department of health only maintains certificates for marriages dissolved since June 6, 1927. Older records are only obtainable from the Clerk of Courts. To order a certificate, complete an application for dissolution of marriage report. Each request costs a $5 search fee for one year, covering the cost of one certified copy. Pompano Beach death records are public records. However, only the following persons may request cause of death information as part of the record if the death happened less than 50 years ago:
