The Criminal Justice Information Services Division of the FBI publishes annual crime statistical data as part of the FBIs nationwide Uniform Crime Reporting Program. According to 2016 reports, Hollywood city recorded a net total of 5,564 index crimes of which 89% were property crime offenses while 11% were a combination of various violent crimes. A closer look at the data revealed larceny-theft to be the overall most occurring crime and the most common offense in the property crime subset with a reported 3,677 incidents in the 12-month span. Vital Records

The Broward County Clerk's Office issues marriage licenses and retains records of marriages licensed by its office. These records can be obtained by making in-person or mail requests to the office and will require the requestor to provide information regarding the marriage such as the name of the spouses involved, the place and date of the marriage, and the marriage license number or the certificate number(if known). Where and How to Get Birth and Death Records

Hollywood city birth and death records can be obtained from the office of the Hollywood location of the Broward County Vital Statistics Offices.
